In order to save cows from slaughtering, BGMSRF started the project intially with 3 cows in this Gaushala.
The cows are invariably captured and taken for slaughtering by a particular society
The project of Sree Gokulam, was founded by BGMMSRF.
2015
1.Started Goshala with a donation of three aged cows donated by Dr Deepalakshmi
2.Started first shed erection with thatched roof
3.Got five more aged cows from the local temple
4.Got veterinary services from local veterinary doctor
Got sponsors for fodder and minor costs
2016
1.Second shed erection to house additional animals
2.Water tanks constructed with lying new pipe lines
3.Collection of cow dung for making cow dung cakes
4.Added ten more animals form local charities
Got sponsors for fodder and minor costs
2017
1.Third shed erection at the goshala
2.Supply dry hey assured
3.Making sacred ash ( Vibudhi) from Cow during
4.Enlisted local volunteers
Regular cow pooja facilitated for the young women
2018
1.Changed the name in to Sree Gokulam
2.Formal registration under BGMMSRF
3.Total animal strength risen to 32
